Laurel, this is my newest passion. I've read Omnivore's Dilemma, In Defense of Food, and want to see Food Inc. Am I eating this way? No. Am I trying, yes, in the sense that I've shopped our local farmers market (now closed for the winter) and try to make better choices. But I still drive thru, and think I probably always will. There is a lot of information about eating locally, but it isn't pushed out like Big Food/Fast Food is. Great post, thanks for the link.
