About Me

My photo
Laurel
I am a recent seminary graduate, earning my Master of Divinity this past May. Before entering seminary, I taught high school journalism and photography concurrently with advising the school’s yearbook and newspaper (yes I have the patience of a saint). I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism, and a Master of Arts in Secondary Education. I recently completed a Chaplain Residency program, and currently work as a per diem chaplain. I love teaching, worship, community outreach, ecumenical endeavors, interfaith dialog, and social justice. What really makes me tick though is the desire to learn, grow and interact. I love photography (I even taught B/W development in the darkroom for many years) and travel, movies, etc. I love words and putting together words, the art of writing. And, last but not least, I am the owner of the most beautiful dog in the world. Not that I'm partial or anything.
